Commercial Facilitator
THE ROLE
As Commercial Facilitator, you will support the Commercial team to achieve more for current and future customers.
This role is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious scientist with a life sciences degree who would like a career advancing science, but not from the lab bench.
The successful candidate shall gain exposure and experience in a wide range of Commercial aspects within an ambitious and innovative life science company, who performs research services for therapeutic developers worldwide.
The ideal candidate will innately express excellent attention to detail, be an expert in communicating successfully with stakeholders at all levels and possess strong interpersonal skills.
The role will require you to be on site within the Motherwell office at least 3-4 days a week.
Depending on company priorities and you performance, you will have a real chance of career progression and continued development within the Commercial team within which exists several routes for career progression, including Business Development, Customer Success or Marketing avenues.
WHAT WE EXPECT YOU TO DO
Key responsibilities:
Legal & administrative:
• You’ll facilitate the review, editing and coordination of execution of legal documents including confidentiality agreements, master services agreements, material transfer agreements and project contracts.
• You’ll set up new draft proposals and contracts based on existing templates.
• You’ll help map out new projects within relevant project management software, helping to communicate with colleagues external to the Commercial team.
• You’ll assist in reviewing and assigning inbound enquiries to correct colleagues.
• You’ll help maintain the hygiene and accuracy of our CRM database.
• You’ll create CRM reports to track performance and report team KPIs.
• You’ll utilise content provided by colleagues or others to update our websites ensuring they stay up to date and relevant.
Conferences & events:
• You’ll support attendance at in person events and conferences to ensure maximum return on attendance e.g. event registration, communication with organisers, managing/overseeing RoukenBio team actions, ensuring deadlines are anticipated and met.
• You’ll assist Marketing colleagues with the preparation of materials (digital and physical) for e.g. creation of brochures, posters and other relevant marketing collateral.
• Coordinate travel arrangements for the delegates.
• Support the Commercial team in their planning and preparation for conferences, to include but not limited to: identifying prospects that fit ideal customer profiles and collating relevant background information, collating contact details and creating outreach to appropriate prospects, managing conference platforms e.g. company profile creation and supporting targeted outreach.
• You’ll help with the administration and tracking of conference and marketing purchases.
General:
• You’ll take responsibility to help identify projects and required training to enhance your own learning and ongoing development.
• You’ll identify areas for improvement within the Commercial team’s processes and implement agreed plan to rectify.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU
We would like you to have the following qualifications:
• At least at BSc degree in Life Sciences.
• 0-2 years of experience in a Life Science company.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Teams and other relevant software as appropriate, with an aptitude to learn how to use new software to record, track and communicate to the wider organisation in real time and/or when requested.
